Backyard dandelions pressed in old books, daisies squished under magazines. A passion for preserving the quick but fleeting beauty of nature's little ornaments: flowers.
The creative need to prolong the life and beauty of something that will inevitably die & create something beautiful with it. What began as a humble craft for Maggie, now a professional pursuit.
Never dreaming those backyard dandelions crammed in dusty old books could blossom into something truly meaningful & lasting, not just to Maggie but to others.
Maggie learned & trained under a professional & profound floral preservation company in East Tennessee. There she truly honed her skills and discovered a genuine passion and natural affinity towards this amazing field. Nothing was more rewarding or beautiful than taking a lovely bride's wedding bouquet, and being able to transform her precious wedding flowers into a work of art that will last a lifetime. Flowers that otherwise would have faded, browned, rotted and eventually died, turned into a one-of-a-kind keepsake. It was such a beautiful process to Maggie and a wonderfully rewarding creative outlet.
Absolutely loving and thriving in her job, she had to leave the beloved company in East Tennessee, after getting married to her husband Connor and moving to Charlotte, NC.
What seemed a setback, turned into a leap of faith. A leap towards taking charge of her own destiny and embarking on her own floral preservation journey: realizing this "hobby" of hers didn't have to end there, and could be a serious career path.
Inspired by the pairing of their faith and her passion for floral preservation, Forgiven Flower was born. Connor & Maggie decided they wanted to create a one-on-one floral preservation service catered around serving their clients, & their vision. They are focused on providing a truly unique, one-of-a-kind, timeless keepsake created with and for their precious clients.
There is nothing more fulfilling or meaningful to Maggie and she takes pride & honor in her work, pouring genuine love and care into each petal she touches. She hopes you can feel the passion, care, devotion, and intention in each piece she sends out into the world.
