Caring for Your Flowers Before Shipping
The condition of your flowers when they arrive plays an important role in their preservation. A little preparation goes a long way.

Keep your bouquet hydrated. Place the stems in fresh water while you wait to ship.

Keep flowers out of direct sunlight. Choose a cool spot away from direct sun and excessive heat.

Avoid refrigerating or freezing your bouquet. Follow these care instructions rather than placing your flowers in a refrigerator or freezer.

Plan ahead for weekend weddings. If your wedding takes place over the weekend, you can prepare to ship on Monday, provided your flowers have been cared for properly in the meantime.

Ship as soon as reasonably possible. Fresher flowers generally provide the best starting point for preservation. We may be able to accommodate last-minute shipments, but waiting can affect the condition and final appearance of your flowers.
A helpful tip: Designate a trusted friend or family member to care for and ship your bouquet after your wedding. You'll have plenty to think about, and this is one detail you can arrange ahead of time.
How to Prepare Your Bouquet for Shipping
Before placing your flowers in the box, follow these steps to help protect them during transit.
1. Prepare the stems
Wrap the ends of the stems in paper towels that are damp but not dripping wet. Secure them gently with a rubber band.
2. Protect the stems
Place a plastic bag around the damp paper towels and stems to help contain moisture. Keep the plastic away from the flower heads and petals.
3. Position your bouquet
Carefully place your bouquet inside the box. Make sure the flowers have enough room and aren't pressed against the sides or top.
4. Add light packing material
Use crumpled packing paper or another suitable lightweight packing material to fill empty spaces and prevent the bouquet from shifting during transit. Avoid packing too tightly or crushing the blooms.
5. Secure your box
Close and seal the box securely. Attach your printed shipping label to a flat surface, making sure it is clearly visible and that no other labels or barcodes interfere with it.
Please note: Invitations, photographs, ribbons, charms, jewelry, and other keepsakes should be arranged for shipping separately unless we've discussed another plan with you.

As soon as possible after your event is ideal. If your wedding takes place over a weekend, keep your flowers hydrated and out of direct sunlight until you can ship on the next business day.
Do I need to purchase my own shipping label?
No. We'll provide your prepaid label after you submit your shipping details and complete checkout. You'll simply print the label and attach it to your box.
